Website elements you'll probably want:

So why do campers look to your website?
  • Why is your place desireable?
  • Activities, services, features/benefits
  • Photo Albums
  • Location - maps - directions
  • Accomodations: RV hookups, tent sites, cabins, rentals
  • Internet access, game room, laundry...
  • Events: Weekly, special events, events nearby
  • Rates

OK, so it's going to be pretty much the same for every campground... give or take having gambling and slots... ( go figure)

As far as I can tell, this can all be covered in a simple one page website, but there's something to be said for your webistes with LOTS of copy and interesting things to look at. Readers Digest Clearing House has proven that "long copy sells". You don't want shortcuts to create the image that you cut corners everywhere.

Make a list of things you want to tell folks that will make a difference... do some searches on the internet to see what websites you enjoy and would be good examples of how you would be comfortable appearing. Maybe even tear out pages from camping magazines that have images you like. Then we'll start cutting and pasting to create a site for you!~

More as time permits,

Jeff
